I am unable to be with you for your father's funeral, but I wanted to let you know you are all in my prayers. I met your Dad about 14 years ago in the Cardiac Rehab unit at United Hospital. My husband was there after bypass surgery and I joined the exercise group. Bob was always a lot of fun to be with and use to tease me a great deal. We spent time with both your mother and father at "Mended Hearts" and admired the way your Dad took care of your Mom. We remained friends and your Dad came to our home with Leta several times to go to dinner with us. Your Dad also attended my husband's funeral and called me after several times to make sure I was okay. We shared the same faith and that was very important to your Dad. He was so very proud of you all. I will miss his phone calls and the opportunity to spend time with him. Please let me know about Leta, as I know she was injured in the recent accident they had. God comfort and bless you all. Grace & Blessings, Charlene Portzen
