Service:

Home going services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church, 3925 32nd Avenue.  Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. 

Visitation:

A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church, 3925 32nd Avenue from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. 

Memorial:

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the family would be appreciated.

Obituary:

Eddie Spann, Sr., age 57 of Kenosha, went to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Aurora Medical Center.

Born in Helena, Arkansas on November 22, 1954, he was one of twin sons born to Levi and Rosie (Taylor) Spann.

On March 1, 1974 in Kenosha, he was married to Bruzine Finley.

He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator at Anaconda/American Brass, retiring in 2008.

Eddie is survived by his wife, Bruzine; his mother, Rosie Spann; his five children, Katradron Spann of Kenosha, Kashena Spann of Racine, Eddie Spann, Jr. of Norfolk, VA, Brushinta Laporsche Finley of Kenosha and Kwanza Destine Finley of Kenosha; his nine grandchildren; his five brothers, Charles (Mozella) Spann of Helena, AR, his twin brother, Rev. Freddie (Carolyn) Spann of Helena, AR, Levi (Betty) Spann, Jr. of Star City, IN, Cornelious (Delores) Spann of Kansas City, KS and Robert "Bob" Spann of Kenosha; his five sisters, Charity Cooks of Kenosha, Annie (William) Brown of Helena, AR, Henrine Joyner of DeWitt, AR, Christine (Peter) Supal of Racine and Mariah (William) Buchanan of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces and nephews; and his loving aunt, Lillie P. Palmer of Zion, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter in infancy.
