Obituary:

Kathleen M. Piasecki, age 48 of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 after a courageous battle with Brain Cancer at Aurora Medical Center.

Born in Kenosha on August 26, 1963, she was the daughter of Albert Stefani and Marie "Toni" Capelli.  She was educated in local schools and received her Associates Degree in Science.

On August 19, 1983 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Michael J. Piasecki III.

Kathy was a health enthusiast and body builder.  She was a self employed Massage Therapist, retiring because of her health.

She always made a lasting impression with her devotion to her family and was always active in her children's many activities.  When her children were in grade school, she served as a Den Mother and Cub Scout Leader.  She, with another mother, started the first Halloween event at St. Peter's Catholic School.  Kathy was an excellent cook and baker.  She enjoyed spending time flower gardening and feeding the many birds that graced her back yard feeders.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; her two children, Michael and Emily Marie; her mother and step father, Marie "Toni" (Don) Kleczka; her father, Albert Stefani; her two brothers, Anthony Stefani and Thomas (Kelly) Stefani; her three step-sisters, Debbie (Tom) Rigelman, Doreen Richter and DeAnn Thompson.

Kathy is further survived by her mother-in-law, Nancy Piasecki; her sister's-in-law, Joan (Chuck Wilson) Piasecki, Barbara Piasecki and Catherine (Randy) Moulton; her loyal best friend, Kim (Rick) Hansen; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; her uncles, Ed and Tom Capelli; her father-in-law, Mike Piasecki, Jr.; her step-mother, Joan Stefani; and her twin cousins, Todd and Gina Capelli.

Mike, I very sorry to hear about Kathy. I attended high School with Kathy and later on we got reacquainted when you both joined our couples league at Guttormsen. I never found anything but a smile on hear face and she was always kind to everyone she was around. May the Lord keep you and your children close. God Bless

I am so sorry for your loss. Kathy was such a caring, passionate person. I feel very sad that I did not get to spend any time with her , but will always remember the last time we spoke, we told each other we loved each other. She cared so much for all of her family and people she always helped. May God comfort you in this difficult time. Judy Gage

SOrry to hear about Kathy. Didn't know her that well, but I do remember babysitting for her. Not that it makes it any easier, but she will be with a great group of people who will take care of her. Miss and love all of them
