Obituary:

Lillian Tracy, age 88 of Kenosha, died on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Born on May 1, 1923 in Moundridge, KS, she was the daughter of the late Reinhold and Martha (Behr) Weiss.  She attended local schools.

On May 1, 1943 in Kenosha, she was married to Jack Tracy.  He preceded her in death in 2000.

She was employed in the payroll department of American Motors Corporation, retiring in 1980.

Lillian loved her Lord Jesus and felt blessed to be a lifelong member of Immanuel Baptist Church.  She found great solitude in reading her bible, praying and journaling.  Many who knew Lillian considered her their prayer warrior.

She is survived by her three children, Jacolin (Douglas Mitchell) Hockney of Brighton, CO, John (Sherri) Tracy of Kenosha and Jay (Karen) Tracy of Waco, TX; her brother, Harvey (Elizabeth) Weiss of Kenosha; and her five grandchildren, Jason, Jonathan, Ashley, James and Jordan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Benjamin Weiss.
