Josetta M. Wagner, age 94, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Home & Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, January 21, 2012.

Born in Kenosha on July 19, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Bonn) Wenning.  She attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.

On February 14, 1941 in Milwaukee, she was united in marriage to Carl Wagner.  He preceded her in death on May 9, 1998.

Josetta was employed in the drapery department at the downtown JC Penney before her employment with the City of Kenosha as a tax clerk for sixteen years.  She celebrated her retirement in 1981.

She was an active member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and the Holy Rosary Society, and also served as the second President of the Holy Rosary Home and School Association.  In her free time, Josetta enjoyed sewing, golfing and especially bowling, where she bowled on the Ferris Fruit team for many years.

Josetta loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be deeply missed by all.  She is survived by her loving children, Bill (Elicia Walker) Wagner of Seattle, WA and Cathy (Bill) Wamboldt of Genoa City, WI; her three grandchildren, Jeff (Janel) Wamboldt, Joe (Alice) Wamboldt and Jill (Al Eide) Wamboldt all of Kenosha; and her five great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brooke, Cody, Cassidy and Chloe.

In addition to her parents and her husband of 57 years, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn "Kay" (Elmer) Aiello and Mary (Henry) Schultz; her brother, John (Phyllis) Wenning; and both a brother and sister in infancy, Cletus and Lucille.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of St. Joseph Home and the staff of Hospice Alliance for the loving care given to Josetta.
