James "Jim" GreeningNovember 07, 1945 - January 02, 2012 Service:Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 919-60th Street, Kenosha. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Visitation:A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Obituary:James "Jim" Greening, age 66, returned home to his heavenly father on January 2, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 7, 1945 in Milwaukee, WI, he was the son of the late G. Robert and Viola (Wruck) Greening. His career path took Jim in several directions, allowing him to manage a medical laboratory, teach and retire as a small business owner. Jim had many loves in his life from fishing on his boat to the Green Bay Packers, but his greatest love was for his family. He is survived by his wife, Linda; three children, Chris (Pam) Greening of Orlando, FL, Sara (Dan) Barry of St. Charles, IL, and Robert (Sarah) Greening of Racine and two sisters, Dianna and Candace Greening, both of Milwaukee. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Miles Greening, Gwen Greening, Keely Greening, Andrew Barry, Abigail Barry, Jonathan Barry, Sebastian Greening, and Oliver Greening. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 919-60th Street, Kenosha. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. Linda, My thoughts are with you after Jim's sudden passing. I can remember the giant proposal card he put up at Bradford eleven years or so ago. What a romantic and wonderful man. May your memories fill the spaces and bring you peace. ~Louise Lovdahl

While I did not know Jim personally, I did meet his children through their mom and my dad. I am sorry for your loss. This is very tough to have to go through. My thoughts are with you and your families.
