Virginia M. Leach

June 12, 1920 - December 31, 2011

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue.  Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. 

A visitation for Virginia will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012  4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home, 3720 39th Avenue.

Virginia M. Leach, age 91, of Kenosha, died on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Brookside Care and Rehabilitation Center.

A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on June 12, 1920, the daughter of William and Estella (Carl) Richter. 

On October 8, 1938, she was united in marriage to LeRoy Frank Leach, Sr. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church.  He preceded her in death on April 17, 2004. 

A proud homemaker, she took great joy in caring for her home and her family. 

Surviving Virginia are her four children, LeRoy (Janice) Leach, Jr., Susan (Dale) Wieselman, Bradley (Donna) Leach and Curtiss Leach; her nine adored grandchildren; and eighteen precious great-grandchildren.  She is further survived by her siblings, Arthur Richter, William (Joyce) Richter, Shirley (Eugene) Blasi and Charles (Marge) Richter.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in law, Elton (Lydia) Richter, Sr., and her sister-in-law, Agnes Richter.
