Lillian V. EdgertonMarch 10, 1923 - July 19, 2010 Service:Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in St. Casimir's Cemetery. Visitation:A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home, 3720 39th Avenue. Obituary:Lillian V. Edgerton, age 87 of Twin Lakes, was born into eternal life and reunited with her husband on Monday, July 19, 2010. Born in Kenosha on March 10, 1923 she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Schaeffer) Lapsis. Lillian was a graduate of St. Casimir's Catholic Elementary School. On October 10, 1964, she married Jesse Edgerton at St. Casimir's Catholic Church. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on September 24, 2009. Lillian was a seamstress for 31 years at Coopers/Jockey International, retiring in 1972. She was a faithful and dedicated Catholic. Lillian was an active member of the former St. Casimir's Catholic Church and was involved with their Christian Mothers and St Hedwig's Society where she served as president for 20 years. Lillian then became a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Twin Lakes. She was also a member of Cooper's Retirees Club and the AMC/Chrysler Retirees Club. Lillian enjoyed playing cards with her husband and knitting in her spare time. She is survived by her son, John (Jennifer) of Twin Lakes; and her loving granddaughter, Catalina Sandoval. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edwin C. Lapsis.

My Condolences to all of you. Lilly will be remember in my heart for who she was and I am going to smile when her name is mentioned with fond memories. Jessie and Lilly forever now and that makes me happy as their love for each other was like no other. The love the had for their son was seen from miles away and although may seem miles away, now they are even closer in his heart. If you need anything....please call. Love all of you!
