Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at Irwin Chapel, 2960 Maryville Rd. , Granite City , IL   62040 . Ph.# (618)931-8000.  Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Edwardsville , IL. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Irwin Chapel, 2960 Maryville Rd., Granite City, IL. 

Bertha M. "Bert" Pucker, age 73 of Kenosha died on Saturday, July 17, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab Center. She was a long time resident at Wynnwood Kenosha and had many friends there.

Born in Madison, IL, on July 3, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha Mae (Lancaster) Vaughan.

Bert was united in marriage to Leonard G. Pucker on July 14, 1962, in Granite City, IL. They were blessed with three children and 42 years of marriage. Leonard preceded her in death on March 6, 2005.

Bert was employed as a bookkeeper at Kaegel Real Estate and Insurance Agency Inc. in Granite City, for over 20 years.

She belonged to the Salvation Army Church and Elks Lodge #1063 both in Granite City.

She is survived by her three children, Leonard "Lee" Pucker and his wife Kathy, John Pucker and his partner Bruce Catt, and Melinda O'Neill and her husband Brian; along with six grandchildren, Joshua, Molly, Casey and Brynna O'Neill; Duncan and Laurel Pucker; her brothers, Frank, Lester and Jack Vaughan; her twin, Shirley Bopp; and her sister Glenda Cuevas.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that memorial remembrances be directed to the Salvation Army, 3007 East 23rd Street, Granite City, IL  62040 (618-451-7957).
