Service:

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 8, at 2:00 P.M. at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5038-19^th Ave.  Private interment will take place in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Visitation:

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the church.

Obituary:

Norma M. Smith, 86 of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Mitchell Manor in Oak Creek, WI. 

Born in New Prague, MN on July 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frederick A. and Wilhelmine S. (Bohnsack) Gosewisch. Norma graduated from New Prague High School and went on to receive her degree in elementary education from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN. 

On July 28, 1951, in New Prague, MN, she was married to Randall Smith. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2010. 

For many years, Norma was a teacher and taught at Friedens Lutheran School, St. Luke's Lutheran School and Bethany Lutheran School.

 She enjoyed reading and would spend her spare time gardening. 

She is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Mark) Riel of Franklin, WI, her grandson, Nathan Riel of Franklin, WI and her sister, Lois Burgdorf of Dallas, TX. 

Norma was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
